I looked at that article. I couldn't see any reason to give any credence to the author.

The author seems to be conflating things and sarcastically exaggerating things.

The input to the article was about higher protection and reduced transmission using multi-component masks. (Standard surgical masks have two layers for this very reason.)

Wearing a two-layer mask isn't anymore of an inconvenience than a fabric mask if you can get them.

I can barely wear one mask. I can't wear three at once.

I still believe that people should wear gloves also. I have been since it started. That virus can be on anything you touch and in most cases it doesn't die for 4 hours. The biggest problem with gloves, a cell phone can't be touched and make contact with gloves on, at least rubber gloves.

Pretty good idea. I was double masking it , had a doctor's appointment today and they wanted me to triple mask it and I was cool with it, my breathing was fine.
Triple mask from now on it is.
