The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee urged the Bush administration Sunday to seek criminal charges against The New York Times for reporting on a secret financial-monitoring program used to trace terrorists.

Rep. Peter King blasted the newspaper's decision last week to report that the Treasury Department was working with the CIA to examine messages within a massive international database of money-transfer records.

"I am asking the Attorney General to begin an investigation and prosecution of The New York Times _ the reporters, the editors and the publisher," said Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y. "We're at war, and for the Times to release information about secret operations and methods is treasonous."

The conservative lawmaker called the paper "pompous, arrogant, and more concerned about a left-wing elitist agenda than it is about the security of the American people."

I think that I smell a double standard.

The program has been going on since shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. It was disclosed last week by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - In an effort to track the flow of terrorist money in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, the Treasury Department obtained data from an international cooperative that transmits information between financial institutions worldwide, both the department and the cooperative said.

Speaking at a press conference Friday, Treasury Secretary John Snow insisted the program was "consistent with our democratic values" and "an important source of information about global financial flows."

The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times reported that the records were examined under a series of broad U.S. subpoenas, with the Times reporting that Treasury officials did not seek individual court-approved warrants or subpoenas to examine specific transactions.

The Journal also said the existence of the program may be controversial in Europe and other parts of the world, and within the global banking industry, which has long worried about the privacy of transactions.

The Christian lifestyle is based on the Bible and the Atheistic lifestyle is based on the concept of humanism where man can solve all problems without the need for God. This vast difference means the two will always be opposing views where people must choose how they live and who they serve. Christians accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and Atheists reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Preachers advocate the Christian lifestyle and the Atheistic news and entertainment industry located in New York, Boston and Hollywood advocates the Atheistic lifestyle.

I have watched politics for many years. At first it appeared there were just differences in policy. There was liberal and conservative, big government versus small government. But when the judicial system began to promote inappropriate contentography, abortion and homosexuality, it became obvious to me that there was a total philosophy of life involved in the liberal concepts.

I consider Atheism a religion because the followers have a set of rules that they follow, a set of people that preach atheism and a set of institutions they protect. Atheists openly attack the Christian lifestyle. Many Atheists and Atheistic organizations openly hate President Bush. Now you can say they hate the War on Terrorists, but they also hate President Bush and the Republican party that supports Christian principals.

There is a cultural war in America between Christians and Atheists. This war is being fought on the battlefield of politics. The battles are in the voting booth. The prize in the cultural war is the hearts, minds and souls of the children. The key element of the Atheistic strategy is an attack on the Christian Family Concept. Men are deceived by inappropriate contentography, women are deceived by feminism, and children are being taught in our public schools there is no God.

The democratic party has always been a coalition party where you have to compromise to stay in existence. I believe democrats are going to have to find a different strategy or to remain the minority party forever.

I advocate Democracy, Christianity and Capitalism for America and the rest of the world.
Democracy allows choice, Christianity defines the proper choice and Capitalism takes care of those who make the wrong choice.

People in America are going to have to choose between Christianity and Atheism. The way to defeat Atheism in America is to vote the democrats out of office and to establish a Christian conservative news and entertainment industry. Many missionaries are needed to offer the choice to the rest of the world.

America needs to return to being the proof of the virtue of Christianity and that God is the only true God.
