I agree Ezekiel 37 was fulfilled on Israel, just not the way he says:
Prophecies of Ezekiel 37
In a stunning and remarkable moment,
Netanyahu also declared to the people of Europe and the world
that the prophecies of Ezekiel 37 have been fulfilled.
The Holocaust, he said, represented
the "dry bones" and "graves" of the Jewish people, and out of that horror
the State of Israel was resurrected, just as the Lord said would happen through the Hebrew Prophet Ezekiel.
Rarely has any world leader given a major address on an international stage declaring End Times prophecies from the Bible have come true. But that is exactly what Netanyahu did. - Joel Rosenberg
Ezekiel 37:1-5 KJV
[1] The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the
midst of the valley which was full of bones,
[2] And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were
very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
[3] And he said unto me, Son of man,
can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
[4] Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them,
O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
[5] Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these
bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
Netanyahu is very wrong with his interpretation. God did NOT view the "valley of dry bones" as "Holocaust" in Europe. That is absurd. This is NOT a valley God talked about in Europe. Nor, it has to do with the physical nation of Israel and Ethnic Jews. Not at all!
Compare Scripture with Scripture. Ezekiel was carried away in the spirit and is set down in the midst of a valley full of bones. This valley may be
identified with the valley in Psalm chapter twenty-three.
Psalms 23:3-4 KJV
[3] He
restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
[4] Yea, though
I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Before we were saved, we were in the valley of the shadow of death facing God's judgment. TheHebrew translation defined the word, "dry" as: "to be ashamed"; "to be confounded"; "to wither away"; or to be "dried up." This is indeed the spiritual implication. When we read else where in Scripture where God dried up waters or trees or bones in Scirpture, it means one thing: It is void of SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING - It is LACKING ENTERAL LIFE. They are ashamed and confounded. They have spiritually withered away - spiritual depraved! They can't save themselves on their own which requires God's spirit to save them!
Another example we read about christ in Psalm chapter 22, which is a prophecy of Christ as He hung on the cross, we note that it states in verse fifteen "... my strength is DRIED up like a potsherd ..." This word “dried” is the same Hebrew word that we see here is Ezekiel: “O ye dry bones,” or “Lo, they were very dry.” Christ wasn't merely referring to His physical "strength" being dried up, although His body was dehydrated and He did thirst physically. Scripture tells us of Christ on the cross: “My strength is dried up like a potsherd.” The word "strength" here in Psalm 22:15 means His ability, His power, His might, and His strength. All were "dried up." Not only was He dried physically, but also spiritually Christ hung on the cross
burdened with the sins of all believers.
Christ was, in every sense, spiritually dried while He hung on the cross. He was ashamed and confounded (dried spiritually) which was part of His punishment for our sins. Christ, God incarnate, went into hell as a doomed sinner for us, and came out after three days. Christ experienced the awfulness of being without hope, as are these bones in Ezekiel.
The next question we might ask ourselves is how can bones take on human feelings such as being confounded or ashamed? Of course, God is using "bones" as an analogy or metaphor in portraying the lost sinner. The Hebrew word for “bone” in the Old Testament can mean "the whole substance of man." In verse 4 God commands Ezekiel to say unto these bones "HEAR the word of the Lord." These bones would clearly never hear the Word of God if God didn't command them to Hear, as He does in this verse. Selah! Had God not commanded them to hear they
would remain as dry bones. Therefore, because God Himself commands these bones to "hear" His Word, thus we know that these bones are representative of His elect out of ALL BONES! Christ, our Good Shepherd, has called them forth unto eternal life. By His Own Grace.
Before we look at how God brings these bones to life, we first need to understand why God uses this picture of bones. Ezekiel sees a great open valley filled with bones that were
very dry. They were dry because they had
physically been there a long time. More importantly they were there because they were representative of
mankind in its unregenerate state. For example dead to Christ, the God of Creation. These bones were displayed throughout the valley, meaning they were scattered. Elect are scatterred all over the world, including the Jews. Keep that in mind. This scene pictures (in parabolic fashion) the destination of all of God’s elect, had He not predestinated them to eternal life. They would be just as doomed as the rest of the world – the enemies of God!
Another proof for your, Little Lamb, if you study more carefully about the dry bones that Jesus gives us a great clue concerning dry bones in Matthew chapter 23 where He says:
Matthew 23:27 KJV
[27] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but
are within full of dead men's bones, and
of all uncleanness.
The Scribes and Pharisees were religious hypocrites, Jesus says. They were like whited sepulchers; that is they were like tombs that were washed clean. Outwardly they appeared sincere, but inwardly (that is spiritually) they were full of dead men's bones, and Christ adds "and of all uncleanness." In other words, they were spiritually dead! Just as all Elect were spiritually dead in the valley of dry bones! Clearly Christ associates dead men's bones with being unclean. “Dead men’s bones” is clearly a term referring to one's spiritual decay.
Can these bones lives? No, not without Spirit of Christ! Here God has brought back the captivity of His people, Jacob and Israel. Jacob, whose name God changed to "Israel" is another Old Testament shadow and/or type of Christ and His Church; Those whom God has circumcised, not in the flesh but in the heart. All have been saved out of this valley of judgment and made to rejoice and be glad, for Christ hath redeemed us for Himself. How? By breath His Spirit, Holy Spirit, into these bones. And they shall live. The noise and shaking of bones linking together (verse 7) refer to the first resurrection of every believer. God opens up the spiritual eyes and ears of every believers, he is bringing them into His Fold. It is not a single day event but a long period of Elect being saved throughout the New Testament period as Holy Spirit works through Christians to bring Gospel to the ends of the world. That is the noise that God call to the bones to "Awake" unto enternal life.
Also, you must not ignore verse 7:
Eze 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the
bones came together, bone to his bone.
Think about it. God did not say "bone to their bone", but Bone to HIS bone"Whose bone is "his bone?" Why it is Christ's! All of the Elect are grafted into Christ's bones spiritually speaking! Didn't you read the Scripture:
Ephesians 5:30 KJV
[30] For
we are members of his body, of his flesh, and
of his bones.
Our bones are linked together with Christ's bones, spiritually speaking. Look at Adam and Eve for example:
Genesis 2:23 KJV
[23] And Adam said, This is
now bone of my bones, and
flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because
she was taken out of Man.
Eve was made from Adam's bone just as the believer is spiritually made from Christ's bones. Remember Ephesians 5:30, we the believers are members of Christ’s body, of His flesh, and of His bones!
Adam was a picture of Christ, while Eve was althogether, a picture of the bride of Christ - making up of ALL Elect from old and new testament, the congregation of God - the body of Christ!
Another proof to refute your "holocaust" mistake is the God told Ezekiel to prophesy upon these bones:
Ezekiel 37:9 KJV
[9] Then said he unto me,
Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the
four winds,
O breath, and
breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Do you know what four winds refers to, Little lamb? The number four signifying universality, the four corners of the earth (Revelation 7:1), thus the wholeness of the earth will be the recipient of God’s breath or wind of eternal life. This is not to say that all of the people of the earth will be saved, but only that all nations of the earth will
hear God’s Words of life, the wind and breath of God. Not specifically location of the Holocaust in Europe as Israel Prime Minister thought! Selah!
One of the BIGGEST mistake that many Christians made is that they thought the "whole house of Israel" is referred to nation Israel only apply to entire Jewish population. That is heresy! These bones are the WHOLE House of Israel which is BODY of Christ, making up of ALL Elect from Old and New Testament, BOTH Jews and Gentiles! Covenant Israel!
"Know
ye therefore that they which
are of faith, the same
are the children of Abraham." (Gal. 3:7)
Ezekiel is first commanded to prophesy to these bones. Then he is told to prophesy to the wind. Finally, in verse twelve he is commanded to prophesy to “
my people.” God now addresses these bones as “MY PEOPLE.” That does not means Ethnic Jews only, but rather spiritual Jews in Christ! God promises us in this verse that He will open our graves and cause us to come “up” out of our graves. Some may ask the question, “how can this be? I’m still alive, I have never been in a grave as of yet?” We must realize that from the
time of our conception, we were in a
spiritual grave awaiting eternal damnation. This, of course, is the result of man’s rebellion to God.
And a frank warning for you Little Lamb is NEVER allowed Bible to be interpreted by world news or prime minister of Israel. It must be interpreted in light of Scripture itself which is God's interpretation!
