Yes we are quite aware that we about to be royally screwed by a bad trade deal. Sorry I know as an American you are over the moon at the opportunity to asset strip the Uk. Remember it’s ‘America First’ and the UK is tin the worst possible negotiating position. If you think this is a good deal for the UK, I know a Nigerian prince who really needs help collecting his inheritance.

I do find it funny that the leavers talk about sovereignty, as part of the trade deal will see a non elected group of lawyers imposing billions of pounds of fines if the UK parliament dares try and improve employee/environmental regulations(which will be dramatically slashed as part of the deal).

That could take place at this month’s G7 summit meeting in France, the official said.

Any such trade agreement would require Congressional approval.

And there other areas that would need to be addressed:
Agriculture isn’t the only potential stumbling block: Privacy and data flows (the U.S. has a more liberal approach to data privacy than Britain, which operatesunder the EU’s more stringent GDPR standard); digital taxes (the U.S. opposesa proposed measure that would see a 2 percent tax on American tech firms’ U.K. revenue); and drug pricing (the Trump administration has long been critical of how Britain’s National Health Service assesses the price of medicines) are all areas of disagreement.

Thankfully, as soon as Parliament returns Boris will be ousted with a vote of no confidence. Then we can stop Brexit, seeing as the view amongst the electorate has changed and a majority now want to remain in the EU.

Sadly for that to happen would require mps to form a workable coalition, not going to happen. More likely Boris will call a general election and we will see a Tory brexit party pact. There is not enough time to stop brexit.

If Corbyn insists on being PM in a temporary govt I fear you are correct. We need a cross-party govt of Liberals, Labour, SNP, Plaid and moderate Tories.

If Corbyn puts aside his pride, our country can be saved from this madness

E.U. - protection for workers, decent holidays, food quality standards, education and health care for all.

US - bleached chicken, working with few holidays and fewer rights to concentrate the wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer people. Don’t get sick - you can’t afford it.

There’s still a chance he might be able to push through a no-deal. Boris is all about personal ambition, he wants to go down in history as a forceful leader. Once he gets sick of playing out the fantasy someone else can try and clean up the mess, whatever happens it’s not going to make any difference to Boris and the like.
