President’s arts and humanities committee resigns over Trump’s Charlottesville response
Another advisory group is walking away from President Donald Trump after his equivocation on neo-Nazis and white supremacists, with the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities resigning en masse Friday morning.

“We cannot sit idly by, the way that your West Wing advisors have, without speaking out against your words and actions,” members write in a joint letter to Trump obtained by POLITICO that ends by calling on the president to resign if he does not see a problem with what’s happened this week.

The first letter of each paragraph of the letter spells out "Resist."

It looks like Trump disbanded his infrastructure advisory council, so there have been at least four councils or boards that have been ended this week. Apparently due to reaction by members of those councils to Trump's words and his failure to act like a moral president.

But what about the Evangelical Advisory board? Only one member has resigned so far. One would think they would have been the first and loudest to condemn Trump for his biased and un-Christian statements. But they remain mute, apparently condoning racism, violence and fascism.

Why?

Well maybe that 1 having the courage to resign will prompt others. Now, I know that's too optimistic but still I'd like to think there's some folks on that board that truly do hold to biblical & ethical principles and will do the right thing.
