Pregnancy Tests (which do you recommend)

For those of you who have used pregnancy tests, which have you found to be the most accurate, or which brand have you had good experiences with?

I know blood tests are the most accurate tests out there, but I just need to know which over the counter tests are the most reliable.

My wife who is an RN used both the ept brand one and one other national brand.....she also went to the dollar store and bought one.... and the results were the same with all three. She was actual told that the ones you can find at teh dollar store can have some of the best results.

she also said it depends on you... we have friend who have tried ept and got a no, no , no and then a blood test and a yes from the blood test.

well thats all i have on the subject.

it depends on if your late or not. EPT and confirm both have good tests out there if you arent even due yet. and if you are late than any will do. even the dollar store ones work great.

It all depends on how far into a pregnancy your might or might not be. Many tests look for a different level of the pregnancy hormone. You can buy tests that can give you an accurate response at 20 mIUs or 100 mIUs. You can find out which tests will give you sooner results online.

I would go get a free test at your local Pregnancy Resource Center. If you tel me what city you're in or give me a zip code I can find one for you.

Personally, I recommend EPT or another name brand. I used a store brand a couple times (Meijer), and the results weren't very clear. I thought it was negative, but I took an EPT and it was clear as day (positive)!

Thats werid the EPT and First responce I got a very faint line and I took it the secound test the first test I used a wal-mart brand because I couldn't believe I was pregnant and the wal-mart brand was very bright as the others where very faint.

I say get the cheapest kind and get two of them. Cause every time I have ever taken one I wanted to confirm it.

*I took one a couple days ago, and at first thought it was positive, but then it faded and went away. Whew! I've got 3 kids. Don't really want another one! *

Yup we gots ClearBlue here, We gots ClearBlue digital and well all of thems.

I used ept and fact plus for my kids and i have used clear blue digital ones too
