Praying for the Persecuted Church

There is so much persecution in the most populated country of the world. Pray for our Christian people and churches there

Do not be far from me, for trouble is near and there is no one to help.

Lord Jesus, may your risen presence be powerfully real to your persecuted children.
May those who scream out in despair today, know that you are there with them,
That you have not abandoned them, and you never will.

Gracious Father in heaven, many walk amiss of the life of God. Among these are some of the highest positions of power in the world, yet they all share the same need of Your salvation. So, those who direct and those who follow under godless rule may still retain hope in the message of your mercy.

Direct Lord, your workers in necessary insight to forward this glorious Gospel.

I pray for the persecuted Christians in India, suffering additionally from covid.
Dear Father strengthen them spiritually and fill them with your love in Jesus name.

It is a curious thing to me, how Jerusalem remains deeply in our hearts by nature. Then again, not solely by nature, but by that same Spirit that He was ready to 'gather' them by.
