Another update... Luke Antony was born nine minutes past midnight on June 24. He's been very stable and is feeding well. We are waiting right now for the doctors to decide when it will be safe for him to travel home to Texas. Until then we wait...and wait, and wait. Thanks be to God for Luke doing as well as he has. So far he has needed no supplemental oxygen and no medications.

Well we have the best news of all now. The doctors have cleared Luke for discharge in the morning. He is ready to travel and apparently won't need his first surgery until after we are home. Thanks to all for your continued prayers, but most of all thqnks be to God for his Mercy and Grace. It will be a three to four day drive, but with His help we will have a great trip.

Well...we have been home now for 2 days, and Luke continues to thrive. We saw the cardiologist who will be his doctor for the long haul today, and continue to be encouraged by what we are hearing. With God's continued Grace we will continue to be blessed. Thanks again for all your prayers. i will probably not update this thread again until Luke is ready to have his first surgery. It looks like he may be able to skip the usual first surgery and begin with #2.

Prayers would be appreciated. One of the realities of Luke's heart condition is that even a minor cold can be dangerous for him. Yesterday and today, he was not himself, and today he stopped eating altogether. We have taken him to the Children's Medical Center here, and he has been admitted for oxygen support and IV fluids. He should be fine, but it has been a bit of a grueling day. He will likely be there for several days, until this virus passes. Otherwise we are all doing well, with God's grace.
