Hello
@Littlek, I had a similar problem with a nerve in my 4th vertebrae. I went to my doctor, and to an orthopedic doctor, but my numbness and pain continued to increase.
The other problem that I found was this, pain killers don't do very much about nerve pain
I'd never been to a chiropractor before, and if it wasn't for the increasing amount of 24/7 chronic pain, I'm sure that I would have never gone to one, but as it turned out, that was the care that I actually needed.
After my first "adjustment" (as it is called), and then 15 min traction session, I began to feel better for the first time in months (both the chiropractic adjustment and the traction were used to painlessly take the pressure off of my pinched nerve). And after a few weeks, the pain and numbness were both gone, something that, sadly, my regular doctors and their prescribed meds had had no effect on whatsoever.
I'm not sure that it will work for David, but since it worked for me, I thought that I should tell you about it.
Praying for him now.
God bless you!
Merry Christmas
