Recently Maginot Line of Taiwan has just crushed as the pandemic sweep across the island ruthlessly It's not the first time we had encountered outbreak of Covid19, but we somehow always get away it by combination of luck, tracing back, and identifying source of infection. Until Covid variant, the ex potential growth of infected people just change the whole games series, now we experience the catastrophe, and witness true and shocking terror. Siren of ambulance intermittently hauling across the air as if in the war zone, majority of freaking out people are hiding in residence and try to stay away from invasion of invisible, and transforming beasts , Yet, Hundred of citizens infected with covid19 are on the daily basis, just like an unending nightmare oscillating day after day. Doctor and nurse from already sweat and blood hospital are struggle fighting against immeasurable waves of ill patients with limit of medical supply. On the top of that, excessive working hours,overloading stress, sleep deprivation, limit supply, futile resistance just drown medical staff into further despair. A small portion of staff just could not endure adverse environment and quits their jobs, and some retired medical staff are continuous for their calling. And government urged people to strongly consider staying in to reduce number of infection and casualties, for personal safety and benefit of society as a whole, and alleviation of overloading stress of hospital. we still have difficulty in combating and stopping outbreak of this rampage. death roll just relentlessly piling up continuously. Vaccine is our last resort.
...Every other day , the electronic newspaper release heartbreaking news that elder people bid sober farewell to family member before last breath with technology mean, such as video chat by assistance of health care workers and deceases be cremated in 24 hrs without presence of any family members around
In bloody and living hell like this , vaccine shortage just make people melt down and grow further resentment toward such undeployed,powerless and incapable government , and panic of citizens can nearly do nothing except wearing seemingly residual mask while having a head on collision with corona virus...Unfortunately, only 1 percent of population got vaccination and make island vulnerable, defend less.
Taiwan is truly grateful for distribution of vaccine from covax, and US global distribution plan of 80 million vaccine doses and unconditional distribution of az vaccine from Japan, Island is in urgent of these vaccine to combat with exponential growth of infection and casualty during COVID-19 early outbreak
I know God has blessed us of one year of living a relatively normal, corona virus-free life, it's about time that I continuously ask his mercy that more doses of vaccine can be delivered through covax like a ray of hope piercing through darkness of corona,. The development of vaccine on island is twisted and bumpy road, and it hasn't started phase III as it planned to be, however, I pray its success sooner than later to help country break the dawn. .I really pray that people on island are not panic, and have wisdom, courage, and faith to go through this trial all together , as if a seemingly unending tunnel of darkness ..No matter how long a night, dawn will always break.
