Hello again. Yet another question.
Are there many of you that use pray
Blankets/Shaw's in your church for
Those with illness ?
I Invision using flannel, since it is
Warm, and economical, and would
Tie them together, due to ease. Quilts
Would be difficult, and require skills.
Groups could gather to cut and then
Tie, and a short prayer with tie.
Give to people in hospitals, nursing
Homes, and those that "could use
A boost". At one church I attend, I
Asked, and they showed me a box,
And said they only give out 1 or 2
Per year.....the other had a napkin with
Threads and you could tie a knot if
You wish.

Would you view such a program good
Or bad ?

Generally I don't think we should add ANYTHING to holy Scripture as pertains to the Church. As to Christians making blankets, my grandmother had monthly gatherings at her home for quilting, and it was a happy and godly time for these several elderly sisters to make quilts for needy people and missionaries.
