Praying for Germany, especially Munich, where there was an attack on innocent people. It is reported that the shooter lured people to the area saying they would get free McDonald's, and previous to the incident researched "killing rampages":

O Lord, comfort family and friends of those lost in the Munich shooting spree, especially sad that many of them were children. We don't have the answers to put a stop to such horrendous acts against innocent people, but with You all things are possible, where there seems to be no way, You have a way. Work on the hearts and minds of those who are contemplating evil acts and put a stop to it, before it happens again, In Jesus Name, Amen

Praying for Germany. This is horrifying. Germany is slowly "committing suicide". How utterly tragic that there is no justice for those who are victimized, and they cannot even speak out about it.

Father, You have seen the division of people into political countries with their formal land boundaries for thousands of years. Recognizing these countries is one way for us to pray for them, Father, that You will work in the hearts of their leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2), to first come to place their trust in You for their own salvation, and then to lead their countries in Your righteousness. I pray for Germany, starting at both ends, from the top political leaders, and from the lowest individual person, praying for all those in between, that they will be enlightened through Your Holy Spirit, in the light of Your Word, to understand the
relationship You want to have with each of them; how You want to bless them and their entire country if they would only yield to You as Lord. May they seek to put You before themselves (Matthew 6:33-34; Psalms 37:4) and then find the love, joy, and peace through the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), rather than looking for them only in the things of this world. Amen.
