Praise and Worship Music Forum Statement of Purpose

Praise and worship music refers to music commonly found in a liturgical or congregational setting for communal worship. This would include actual religious functions, youth groups, or gatherings of the faithful gathered for the express purpose of praise and worship.

The Praise and Worship Music forum is for Christians to post videos, songs, and lyrics that glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, His name, the Father, and the Holy Spirit; and does not bring any of these into disrespect. This forum is for posting praise and worship music that honors our Lord and ministers to our hearts and our souls. This is a no debate forum. If you would like to share other genres of Christian music, please do so in the Christian Music forum.

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

This part was added to the SOP 16/Oct/2020:

"Praise and worship music refers to music commonly found in a liturgical or congregational setting for communal worship. This would include actual religious functions, youth groups, or gatherings of the faithful gathered for the express purpose of praise and worship."

Some type of music; like hard rock; heavy metal; Rap; are not "commonly found in a liturgical or a congregational setting for communal worship.".
So please; post those types in the "Christian Music forum".
