I have heard some Christians say "The poor are poor because they are lazy."
In fact poverty is caused by man's inhumanity to his fellow man not laziness.
Racism and predjustice causes poverty not laziness.
Jesus said "It is much easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven."
Jesus told a rich man that in order to enter heaven he has to get rid of his wealth and follow him.
