He most likely takes a historisist view then.

Historicist interpretations of the Book of Revelation - Wikipedia

Which until the last hundred or so years seems to have been the main line of interpretation within many Protestant churches. Many now take a Futurist view no doubt influenced by popular christian end times films, and books and Dispensationalism.

I am sure your pastor's intentions are good. The Antichrist is not going to be the pope because the person has to be a Jew and his religion Judaism for the Jews to think he is the messiah (Christ).

I don't think this is correct. If a person is not saved - then he is unsaved. But not necessarily, and unlikely antichrist.

An example of an antichrist (not the Antichrist which is one specific person) is someone who at one time believed in Jesus, but departed the faith to openly deny Jesus, and the Son and the Father being God.

An example would be on You Tube, Yusef Estes, who left Christianity to be a spokesman for Islam, and their twisted view of Jesus.
    ____________________________________________________________
Satan and his angels rebelled in the very presence of God.

In similitude, an antichrist would fit this description in Hebrew 6:4-6. However, I would be slow to accuse anyone of being antichrist, because there are persons who could have been be considered church goers, but leave - to go to another religion, but were not borne again although sitting in the pews.

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

    ______________________________________________________________

When the Antichrist becomes known, and is anointed the King of Israel, perceived messiah to the Jews - them in Christianity who turn away from Jesus, to embrace the Antichrist instead thinking he is the messiah - then they could be considered antichrist - the falling away.

The anti-Christ is only mentioned once in scripture and it has to do with anyone who is against Jesus Christ of Nazareth. That could be a member in your family or a powerful figure. Its all the same.

Yes I agree with you on this point, to be an antichrist, would seem to also entail apostasy from the Faith.

At one time CBS newsman Walter Cronkite was considered to be "The most trusted man in America".

The following is from a meeting of the World Federalist Association, where Cronkite was presented an award for his support of the globalist agenda.
The woman who congratulates Cronkite at the end almost became president.

Many modern Churches are allowing those who reject Christ to speak from their pulpits. This reveals those who are antichrist, and those who support them. Dual Covenant Theology is one of the greatest deceptions in the history of the Church.

When was this recorded, do you know? I think i may have seen this years ago, but had forgotten it.

I am sure I have met one or two people in the workplace who have been influenced by this clip. It shocked me the first time in conversation some people seemed to be unapologetically saying one world government was the way to go. I admit I was taken by surprise for some reason (I was fairly young) they did not even seem interested in entering into debate about it (its over twenty years ago so I cannot remember it in detail).

Cronkite said (in opposition to Pat Robertson) that since the christian coalition in the US viewed any attempt to bring about world order before the return of Jesus, must be the work of the devil, "well join me.. I am glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan."

Facetious or not, what a crazy thing for someone to say.

The globalist plan has been openly promoted for at least 100 years.

During 1913 the globalist bankers gained control of the money supply in the United States through the Federal Reserve Act.

They have funded both sides of the conflict in numerous wars, resulting in the death of millions.

Most of their agenda has been hidden from the American people. The video of Cronkite and Hillary is the rare exception.

At one time I shared Gary Kah's book "En Route to Global Occupation", with my pastor.

A few weeks last my pastor preached a sermon explaining that we did not need to worry about global government, because we would be raptured to heaven before it occurred.

Dual Covenant Theology is one of the greatest deceptions in the history of the Church.

I think the point that the Holy Spirit would make, is that we are all as guilty as the anti-Christ, of sin, outside of the law.

The Holy Spirit would go on to say, even works of righteousness make us more and more like the false prophet, if we insist that it is our doing not God's.

Lastly I think the Holy Spirit would say, neither of these things have any strength compared to the evil that the Devil perpetrates, but if we hinder Him convicting people of sin, we are as guilty as the Devil.

The point is, we aren't supposed to go around saying "who is this? are they the anti-Christ??" we are supposed to be in subjection, saying "first I will serve the brethren and then I will serve God, in the world" - by being an example, we give the best response to the sin of the anti-Christ, false prophet and Devil.

Prophecy has no possibilities, no potentials. WHAT God has ordained is definite. Judas was ordained to do what he did before he was born. There are many antichrists, but the main one, during the Great Tribulation, is who he is or will be, we can't alter that.
Don't worry, the story is written, the stage is being set and the performers are about to take action. There are no doubles, stand-ins in case someone doesn't get the job done. The cast is fixed - and we are all participants btw.

Your courage be commended you; it is hard to stick your neck through the internet, for the faith, but that is what you have had the bravery to do. God calls you elect.

I agree. It’s another distraction in a long line which Satan uses to remove our focus from where it belongs. The Parable of the 10 Virgins comes to mind.

This is for us, a warning. In our 4 dimensional reality, we don't known the future on an individual basis. Like a parent warns their children and chastised them when they disobey, God does the same, only He already knows what is too going to take place. He knows if amd when we will abide in Him, backside, go of the path and return. His WORD is there for guidance and the Holy Spirit as well, but remember, He sees the end from the beginning.

If a man stood up in a church and said he did not need Jesus because he was under a different covenant with God, some preachers would agree with the man if he was from a certain country in the Middle East.
