Hello all

Hello, this is my first post on this board so bare with me.Bear in mind that some people might take offense to this question. If you do, I ask that you please dont reply, because I had warned you in advance by the thread title and I want this thread to be open for discussion about the topic's questions.
My question involves heaven. Do animals go to heaven? What about plants and microscopic organisms? If they didnt believe in jesus christ because noone could communicate that message to them, would they be sent to hell? Also, when you die, what do you look like when you go to heaven? Would an unborn fetus be sent to heaven? Is heaven a place where you take a physical form? If so, would you look like what do did at the moment of your death, or moment of birth, or would you look like whatever you wanted to look like? People always want to go to heaven, but what is it like in heaven? People always joke around about how "if there aint baseball in heaven, I aint goin" or something like that. What do you actually DO in heaven? Is sinning allowed? CAN you sin in heaven? Are there consequences?
I'm asking this as a nonbeliever. Answer any question that you feel that you can. If your answer contrasts another person's answer, dont say that that person was wrong. Simply give your answer and, if you want to, state your denotiation (Lutheran, Methodist, etc).
I want this thread to be open for discussion about the topic's questions.

I am not offended by your host of questions, but I would have been disappointed if you had had no interest in heaven at all. Keep on seeking, only look with all of your heart for the truth and accept of nothing less.Bear in mind that some people might take offense to this question. My question involves heaven. Do animals go to heaven?
I don't recall any specific scripture that says animals go to heaven when they die. God says that we will never be sorrowful, or experience pain, etc in our glorified bodies. From that I can draw 2 conclusions. One, that if we really want to be with our deceased pets we will be with them then. Two, that God will remove any/all unpleasant memories so we do not suffer the painful knowledge that those we loved (including humans) are not with us for eternity. Your guess as to which is accurate, but I would believe that it is more likely that we will have our beloved pets with us.
What about plants and microscopic organisms? If they didnt believe in jesus christ because noone could communicate that message to them, would they be sent to hell?
There will be/are plants in heaven. Picture Eden with all its gardens. Also, picture all the animals that were there. Recall that God created them and Adam named them?
Also, when you die, what do you look like when you go to heaven?
According to what we read in scripture we will look enough like we do now so that our friends and family will recognize us. Recall that those who saw Christ after the resurrection were able to recognize Him. Also recall that He sat and ate and drank with them after the resurrection.
Would an unborn fetus be sent to heaven?
Absolutely! Life begins at conception. That would be when the sould is created by God. Since the unborn BABY has had no opportunity to sin it is blameless and will be taken directly to be with Christ.
Is heaven a place where you take a physical form? If so, would you look like what do did at the moment of your death, or moment of birth, or would you look like whatever you wanted to look like?
Yes, we will have a physical form then. Just as Christ had when He visited the disciples after His resurrection. I believe we will resemble our original appearance so much that our loved ones will be able to recognize us, and we will recognize them. (I suspect many of us will be somewhat slimmer than we are now.
People always want to go to heaven, but what is it like in heaven?
Picture a perfect world, no hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. Perfect weather all the time. Picture farms, vineyards, etc that will be tended by their occupants. There will be no mountains to speak of, no oceans, all will have passed away during the renovation. (See Revelation 20)
People always joke around about how "if there aint baseball in heaven, I aint goin" or something like that. What do you actually DO in heaven?
We will not be sitting around doing nothing. We will have duties. Remember that there will be those in charge of cities, etc. The bible talks of us planting and reaping, that those who have not planted will not take from us that have. We shall live in our own houses that we have built. etc.
The environment will be perfect, and we will be happy doing what God assigns us to do.
Is sinning allowed? CAN you sin in heaven? Are there consequences?
Yes, there will be sinning, at least during the millenium period. Those who do not believe in Christ by their 100th birthday will die for that sin.
Remember that Satan will be loosed again for a short time at the end of the millenium to test the last generation of humans. According to Revelation, there will be a huge number of those who do not accept Christ and who cast their lot with Satan. They will all end up in the eternal lake of fire. So, the answer to your question about sin is, from the standpoint of denying Christ there will be sin during the millenium. During the eternity to follow, there will be no sin, there will be no temptation because Satan and all unbelievers and evil angels will be in the eternal lake of fire.

Do animals go to heaven? What about plants and microscopic organisms? If they didnt believe in jesus christ because noone could communicate that message to them, would they be sent to hell?Animals do not have a soul, and there is no Bibical basis to say that animals/pets will go to heaven. However, there is Bibical basis that there will be animals in Heaven. Whether they will be our pets or not, who knows? If our pets are in Heaven, then it is only because it will be a gift of God to us, not because the animals can receive salvation or damnation. On that basis, I am sure that animals do not go to hell. Ditto for plants, etc.
Also, when you die, what do you look like when you go to heaven? Would an unborn fetus be sent to heaven? Is heaven a place where you take a physical form? If so, would you look like what do did at the moment of your death, or moment of birth, or would you look like whatever you wanted to look like?
We are told that we will be given a glorified body, one that does not age, get sick, or die. We may not look the same, but we will still know one another. Perhaps we will be the same age, or perhaps we will all be our favorite age, or the age that we received Christ, or anywhere in between. Perhaps we will all be children, and it will be an endless perfect summer. There is no Bibical basis for Heavenly ages.
I believe that unborn babies who die are in Heaven. Again, the age is unknown.
People always want to go to heaven, but what is it like in heaven? People always joke around about how "if there aint baseball in heaven, I aint goin" or something like that. What do you actually DO in heaven?
Heaven is a place of worship, praise and a place of rest. There is no Bibical basis for baseball, but it is a place of great joy. There are no more tears, no more death, and no more sorrow. It is a place of great beauty and perfect peace. Since these things are relative to each person, perhaps heaven is different for everyone.
Is sinning allowed? CAN you sin in heaven? Are there consequences?
Once upon a time, there was a war in Heaven. Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels fell and this means they sinned in the eyes of God. However, God is creating a New Heaven and a New Earth, and sin, evil, and death will not be allowed in. These things will still exist in the universe, but will not touch those who reside in the Kingdom of God.

King David's baby died. He has hope of seeing that baby in heaven. "But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me." 2 Samuel 12:23 The New Testament tells us David was also a prophet, Acts 2:29-30What about plants and microscopic organisms?
