In the article it states the yearly profits have been dropping and a trend has developed. It appears that the Pope desires that the financial institution remain healthy. At least the appearance of good health.


Edit: There are all kinds of nasty events on the horizon, globally.
Ecological, geopolitical and personal for all peoples.

Edit #2: Many events are happening right now but, the news conglomerates will not cover many events. As an example, forever chemicals have been discovered in all drinking water globally. Yes, ALL. These cause very serious illnesses over time.

Concerning the Vatican Bank, it might interest you to know that there is a major shift in currencies worldwide due to various oil producing nations moving away from the "Petro-dollar". For many decades the US dominated the oil market. The primary means was by becoming the de facto Saudi military in exchange for the Saudis requiring all oils sales to be conducted with US currency. This is how the Petrodollar was born.

However, under current world events, Russia in now requiring Rubles for all of its petrochemical exports. The Saudis are following suit. So with the dissolution of the 'Petrodollar', all of those dollars held in other nations (including the Vatican) will be traded for stronger currencies. The result will be that the monetary exchanges will send all those 'excess' dollars back to the US - further devaluing the US dollar.

Many years ago (50 to be exact) in 1972, I loudly lamented the fact that Richard Nixon took the US currency off of the gold standard. Now all those valueless dollars are coming home to roost. What comes next will make the Great Depression look like an economically distressed family's yard sale.

Anyone care to speculate what effect these events may have on Israel?

If that will happen, everyone should be buying supplies of food to store while the dollar is still worth something. If we can, we should be asking for gold back instead. Israel has huge reserves of natural gas. Wonder how Bitcoin fits in to this?

The US has legislated one abomination after another; from the murder of babies in the womb, to usury fractional lending, to corruption and lies so vast as to take on the trappings of normalcy. Ladies and gentlemen, knowledge, understanding and wisdom has left the building.

Israel's only real ally on the world stage is falling into judgement. Jacob's troubles are waiting in the wings...

As I understand it, China's purchases are mostly strategic, with most near US govt installations. But who really knows? As far as the US govt goes, they are tracking everything; your possessions, your posts, your conversations... Ultimately, someone will knock on your door. I suggest you offer them a salad from your garden and preach the good news.
