    If a subject is not in scripture then God didn't see fit to put it there and it is inconsequential then.

    But if you claim that the bible supports your doctrine, you better know where it is in scripture if you claim God supports it don't you think?
    Since the bible is our only defense against satan's snares?

    Jesus didn't argue or bring railing accusation against satan, He said thus saith the Lord. It is our defense system, but you guys put tradition over the word of God and claim this is the right thing to do.

    I would say that is from the devil.

    Show me Adventist in Scriptur. Show me the term "soul sleep" in Scripture.

    But indulgences are in Scripture more than you mythical soul sleep.

    Ps 41: 2
    Blessed the one concerned for the poor;
    on a day of misfortune, the LORD delivers him.
    3 The LORD keeps and preserves him,
    makes him blessed in the land,
    and does not betray him to his enemies.
    4 The LORD sustains him on his sickbed,
    you turn down his bedding whenever he is ill.

    Prov 19: 17 Whoever cares for the poor lends to the LORD,
    who will pay back the sum in full.

    Is 58: 7Is it not sharing your bread with the hungry,
    bringing the afflicted and the homeless into your house;
    Clothing the naked when you see them,
    and not turning your back on your own flesh?e
    8Then your light shall break forth like the dawn,
    and your wound shall quickly be healed;
    Your vindication shall go before you,
    and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
    9Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer,
    you shall cry for help, and he will say: “Here I am!”
    If you remove the yoke from among you,
    the accusing finger, and malicious speech;
    10If you lavish your food on the hungry
    and satisfy the afflicted;
    Then your light shall rise in the darkness,
    and your gloom shall become like midday;
    11Then the LORD will guide you always
    and satisfy your thirst in parched places,
    will give strength to your bones
    And you shall be like a watered garden,
    like a flowing spring whose waters never fail.

    Matt 10: 42And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones to drink because he is a disciple—amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward.”

    Jam 5: 19My brothers, if anyone among you should stray from the truth and someone bring him back,
    20he should know that whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

    and then when he is there what does he do? He says mass at some of the local Churches, still has to deal with whatever issues that pop up, etc., etc. It is just like the President. Vacation is them is not vacation as it is with us.

    Yeah we have seen those verses butchered by you as well. As you should have noticed by now all those verses and your interpretation of them has convinced no one.

    The word advent means coming. It is looking for the second coming.

    I don't know where you came up with 'soul sleep' but what you refering to is here.

    From Jacob;
    Genesis 47:30 but when I sleep with my fathers, thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their burying-place. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

    Job 14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?... 12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

    And like I said you can find this in over a hundred texts.

    Ignorance is not bliss in scripture.

    It's exactly like the Presidency. The papacy is the direct representative of the Church just like a President, and is a busy office.

    Benedict retired because he was old and it was too much for him. He didn't even want to be pope in the first place but still took it out of obligation.

    Yet, what do anti-Catholics do? They go on with all these degradations, even making lame conspiracy theories about stepping down due to pedophilia cover ups- it's detestable. People should be ashamed of themselves doing all that, especially one that is supposed to be a Christian. It's a complete lack of respect for someone who worked extremely hard and devoted their entire life to Christianity.

    Convinced no one eh?

    And you know this because?...

    You think you speak for everyone?

    I know intimately what God has led me to say here has touched several peoples hearts, and shame on you for trying to conclude otherwise.

    Have you ever been privileged to lead anyone to baptism? You should be careful how you judge like you are God.

    Actually it wasn't the CHRISTIANS, in fact I think the whole thing that men are claiming led to his retirement started by the Vatileaks scandal, and that was through a Catholic.

    You bring shame on yourself.

    And since you brought it up, what kind of shame do you feel for trying to make it sound like there are no coverups going on? :doh:

    Have heard about the tens of thousands of children abused in Ireland and how the priests responsible, even though the facts proved they were abusing children, paid for the Irish government to cover it up? No one was even publicly brought to justice.

    You really want to go there with someone who has seen the hell your priests subjected little kids to?

    From wiki;
    The Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse (CICA) is one of a range of measures introduced by the Irish Government to investigate the extent and effects of abuse on children from 1936 onwards. It is commonly known in Ireland as the Ryan Commission... Among the more extreme allegations of abuse were beatings and rapes, subjection to naked beatings in public, being forced into oral sex and even subjection to beatings after failed rape attempts by brothers. The abuse has been described by some as Ireland's Holocaust. The abuse was said to be "endemic" in the institutions that dealt with boys. The UK based Guardian newspaper, described the abuse as "the stuff of nightmares", citing the adjectives used in the report as being particularly chilling: "systemic, pervasive, chronic, excessive, arbitrary, endemic".
    The Report's conclusions section supports the overall tenor of the accusations without exception. However, the Commission's recommendations were restricted in scope by two rules imposed by the Irish government, and therefore do not include calls for the prosecution or sanction of any of the parties involved.

    Your defense of this makes me sick.

    And still you do not correct your statement?

    Dear heavenly Father, I know you want them to repent and be forgiven. I wish this too, but if they will not repent, then let your will be done, to fullest extent.

    In the RIGHTEOUS name of Jesus, Not Mary; amen.

    Mary conceived as a virgin through the Holy Spirit, but to say her hymen didn't break while having a baby? You have to be out of your mind.

    And, even greater in the evidence, if you did not consummate a marriage in Hebrew levitical law, your marriage was not official.

    Your doctrines fail on so many levels.

    I read the words of God and He is righteous in His ways, but He NEVER caused Mary to live in sin. If she was living with Joseph after the birth of Jesus without consummating the marriage, she was living in sin. Chew on that for a while.

    Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

    This implies that after Jesus was born Mary knew Joseph.

    The Immaculate Conception is about Mary being free of original sin and full of grace after conceiving Jesus. She is the 'Immaculate One', and the Mother of God.

    You'll see her in Heaven doing this number:

    You didn't state the whole doctrine. You actually believe Mary's mother conceived her as a virgin and that Mary never sinned.

    This means you are calling God a liar.

    Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

    1 John 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

    There are four dogmas of Mary, I only stated one of them. So you calling me a liar is completely uncalled for. Way to act like an anti-Catholic :thumbsup:

    Mary was blessed, but NO WHERE IN SCRIPTURE does God ever call her the "Mother of God."

    God is the self existent one. Jesus became man through Mary but she did not have immortality in herself. She is as dependant on the righteousness of Christ as we are.

    Nice twist, I didn't call you a liar there, I said you are calling God a liar.
    There is a huge difference and I used God's words to state the facts!
