So I am kind of confused. I just read the Vatican is working on him not wearing a mask... he may have breathing issues with a mask though.

Yeah, it sounds like he shouldn't wear a mask.

I've had problems getting enough air through a mask and I have two healthy lungs. He may have some real trouble with a mask.

Masks are hard to breathe in, but cloth face coverings are easier to breathe in, and can be washed after spending time in a space where other people have been breathing.

having more than one is helpful.

The pope could have a super cool one made too.

Yeah maybe with a favorite icon or station of the cross.
I vote a mask embroidered with the words ‘CLARIFICATION’ and ‘TRANSPARENCY’ on it. That would make me happy.

I'd rather he wore a "pope emeritus" mask.

For me I find cloth mask are very hard to breathe in. I find disposable much better
Possibly differences in the size of faces, whether there's a beard - etc.

A doctor ran 22 miles while wearing a mask to prove that masks don't constrict breathing. His oxygen levels never dropped once.

COVID-19: Doctor runs 22 miles wearing a mask to prove they're safe

That isn't scientific. You've got to amass a large sample of people representative of the population and make them run 22 miles (which in and of itself would be impossible for a representative sample), including those with lung deficiencies, then you'd need to do statistical analysis and meta-analysis, be peer reviewed - and then you'd have to know that there's a 50-50 chance that your results aren't repeatable, so multiple studies would need to be done to show whether or not the results are significant.

Q.E.D. The doctor proves nothing and any counter claim is equally scientific.
