They also don't remember what they were discussing from one minute to the next.

I prefer straight answers to soundbyte. Can't let what go?

Already given up on the whole Russian thing, huh? Seems as though there's got to be something to accuse him of.
To the contrary. Everyone to whom he is indebted has the power to call in loans...making him vulnerable to blackmail and coercion. Don, Jr. Already said that when no one else would lend the Trump organization money after the 2008 recession, only Russia would. Exactly how much does Trump owe Russia, both illegal and legal loans from mobsters? Everyone wants to know why he removes sanctions and seems to kowtow to Russia at every turn. After all if we owed a billion to
Russian mobsters we might do the same thing.

Ah, but blackmail is no longer a problem... there are two things Donald cares about... money and reputation.

His reputation is untouchable... he can do no wrong in the eyes of his devoted base... as for money, he's only ever one "national emergency" away from unfettered access to the national coffers....

Not that I would ever accuse Donald of such underhanded practices such as graft, kickbacks, or embezzlement... but surely he knows how it's done... and he can always pardon himself five minutes before he's out the door.

...his followers would probably cheer him for his cleverness.

Russian "mobsters"? We've been talking about Putin and the Russian government all this time.

Short list:
The president and his companies have been linked to at least 10 wealthy former Soviet businessmen with alleged ties to criminal organizations or money laundering.

Among them:

• A member of the firm that developed the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York is a twice-convicted felon who spent a year in prison for stabbing a man and later scouted for Trump investments in Russia.

• An investor in the SoHo project was accused by Belgian authorities in 2011 in a $55 million money-laundering scheme.

• Three owners of Trump condos in Florida and Manhattan were accused in federal indictments of belonging to a Russian-American organized crime group and working for a major international crime boss based in Russia.

• A former mayor from Kazakhstan was accused in a federal lawsuit filed in Los Angeles in 2014 of hiding millions of dollars looted from his city, some of which was spent on three Trump SoHo units.

• A Ukrainian owner of two Trump condos in Florida was indicted in a money-laundering scheme involving a former prime minister of Ukraine.

It would seem that over the last 2 years of Mueller's investigation, he forgot to read USAToday.
