After watching Obama move up in the polls I'm convinced the US is steadily shifting to European style socialism. Canada is already there and in many ways trying to move away from it but the US is just so huge and the people being polled are fundamentally opposed to the US Constitution...its really sad to see. The American Ideal(s) of freedom are discarded for government provided services and goods. Come Lord!

Hey bro! I consider it a Christian emblem. I suppose that faith emblem could come across as someone seeking info about Christianity before taking the plunge, but I see it more as a Christian who continually seeks.

I don't believe the polls. There is so much that can be jiggered around with polling data, that most of them are meaningless. It's obvious that the Democrats are trying their best to impart a pessimistic mindset on any voter who isn't already in the tank for Obama. It's classic Psych Warfare
/PsyOps tactics. Just about every poll oversamples the democrat side, and/or undersamples the republican side. I don't think Obama is ahead, or even tied with Romney. I don't believe that for a second.

The only poll that matters is the one on Election Day.

I agree but if the current polls are to be believed a slight majority of likely voters are saying to give them more of the same. The economy is terrible and gas prices have doubled under Obama but unbelievably they say.. thank you sir please give me another (4 yrs). Incredible.

Most consistent evangelicals aren't voting this year. To be honest, I don't care who wins as long as we stop the genocide. The infanticide in America today dwarfs the other issues IMHO.

Of course I do recognize that all issues are moral issues and that includes economic issues. Right now, I can't find a reason to vote for either candidate.

America is going crazy right now, but I think Romney has a chance. Romney might possibly even win Obama's state.

In todays news as reported by Fox, the UN now thinks it is time to start tapping the wealthier nations. In other words, redistributing the wealth. I'm beginning to think the USA is doomed and there's nothing we can do about it. We are not a wealthy nation, we are a debtor nation. As a pre-millenial pre-tribulation believer, this may be the reason the USA is not even alluded to in Revelation. As a Calvinist, I know He is sovereign -- His will be done. What more could I ask for? Knowing God's in charge is a comfort to me, no matter who wins. Because so much was given to this country, so much was expected. I'm afraid we have sacrificed life for convenience, sacrificed the needy for flatscreens and iPods, etc.

I apologize, this is a depressing post. Put your faith in God and not in the circumstances you find yourself in. Governments fail, but God won't.
