Thought it would be interesting if members here took political tests.

Post whatever test result you want from different tests, but the one I used was..

Not sure how seriously I take these tests, I'm pretty politically illiterate, but I do have an itching to find where I might fit politics wise. I wish the test was more rugged because some of my answers would be different given more clarity, but eh.. I don't take these tests too seriously they're just fun and might help people discover political literature that appeals to them.

I remember I took the test years ago and was pretty much smack dab in the middle of the whole chart. Kind of surprised with my results today. Although again, I wasn't too crazy about some of the questions.

Not sure how accurate this is, we all seem to be in the same quadrant. I think being near the middle may be because of not having a lot of "Strongly" Agrees or Disagrees?

Unexpected.

I don't fully understand what it means tbh. I also didn't fully understand two of the questions. I filled in the majority correctly though.

I was surprised by the option about water being sold. I'd never really thought about it.

If we are in the same quadrant yet on a different square are we supposed to be die hard enemies? Lol.

Yes, my square or bust! It reminds me of a conversation I had with someone who was definitely of a different political persuasion. I found we really didn't disagree on what was important or the direction the country should take, just disagreed on the best way to get there. Sometimes I feel like there is an effort (by "them/they") to divide and conquer.

I had a look at it, and quickly ran through. I was to the left and right on the line between authoritarian and libertarian.

chart

I think there should have been a fifth option viz. "neither agree nor disagree", or if you like a middle ground.

I agree. Some of the questions are also poorly worded.

In any case, the question about multi-national corporation exploiting countries resources? Yeah. How could I know. And why would I agree or disagree given that I don't know.

This request of us members has been made a number of times, and the "quadrant" system of scoring is a lot better than some others.

However, it does depend a lot on what questions are asked, and the ones asked on this poll are terribly biased.

That said, I was wondering why all the previous posters scored "Libertarian" since most people are not libertarians in ideas and philosophy.

So I took the test and deliberately gave every answer that agreed with the Socialist/BLM/Progressive/"Woke" way of thinking. Guess what my score showed. See below.

There is the concept of Left-libertarianism - Wikipedia. I would agree that the naming of the concept causes confusion:
While all libertarians begin with a conception of personal autonomy from which they argue in favor of civil liberties and a reduction or elimination of the state, left-libertarianism encompasses those libertarian beliefs that claim the Earth's natural resources belong to everyone in an egalitarian manner, either unowned or owned collectively.

Mine was about the same position as yours.
