Please pray for my beloved husband JimR-OCDS

Dear Friends ~
It is with a sad heart, that I ask you to pray for my beloved hubby of 40 years ♥ JimR-OCDS ♥ , who was told this week that he has colon cancer

He needs surgery to remove a large polyp/tumor, and we will know more details after we see the surgeon on Monday re: stage/surgery date/treatment options/prognosis.

Tuesday he will have a CT Scan to see if it has spread to other organs.

Today before Mass, he will be receiving the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

Please join me in praying for Jim's healing, as well as for the grace to embrace the Lord's will, and His blessing on every need Jim will have of body, mind, and spirit

I will update you as I know more ~

Gail, thank you very much for posting this, since many more will be able to pray with you both, now that his condition is known. If you think it is appropriate, do you (or I) want to add Jim to the prayer intentions at CAF also? You don't need a ton of PM's to add to your burden, so I respect your decision whether or not to add him there. I am now able to add my sufferings to my prayers, which makes them more powerful.

You are both such wisdom figures here. You model authentic spirituality for the rest of us. And while this challenge will be difficult, I am hopeful that your faith and faithfulness will carry you through to the other side of this illness, having learned what life lessons that were there and spared to be a blessing to your family, friends, and all of us.
