I'm in such excrutating pain and trouble from the tooth extraction from 2 weeks ago. I was really, really injured by this common simple procedure. Went to the ER last week, no infection and no dry socket. I am going to specialist but they don't even care! I'm still presisiting. Pain is very wide spread in my mouth. Jaw, chin, tongue, ear and throat all on the right side. Please, please, I beg of all of you to do some serious praying because the pain is so very bad. The meds are helping but when they ware off, Dear God.......and I'm so scared that the meds could even stop working. This is a really complicated problem that they cannot figure out because nothing is jumping out at them right away which you know will be very hard for doctors to take me seriously. I have no idea what's wrong. Two weeks ago before this extraction I was fine. Now my life is completely flipped upside down. Please help pray for me. thank you

(BTW This probably isn't the cause but if it doesn't get better and they can't find a cause, perhaps the extraction triggered Trigeminal Neuralgia. I've had this and it is very painful.)

I think part of the 'root' can be left inside if something goes wrong with an extraction, and that can cause the pain. I think they need to work on that removed tooth again? because my dentist said if i got pain again after the removal he needed to intervene again there.
