Interesting point: "Elburn" was actually pretty far down the list of names-- chosen only after all the other ways "Melbourne" could be used became exhausted. There was already a town by that name in the state, so the postmaster-general wouldn't allow it. There was no other town with a name similar to "Elburn", so-- Elburn it is. A small town in Kane County, at the intersection of Illinois 47 and Illinois 38.
