Remember the day they flew the big pink pig balloon? I have forgotten the story behind it all though. Do you know what I'm talking about? When they flew the balloon over that old factory?
yeah, and the pilot in the airplane was really confused. It was for the Animals album art

I remember it was for the Animals album release, but I think there was some other interesting thing about it. I hate it when I forget things. It was really interesting too though. Anyone else know what I am talking about? :)

Anyway, long live the Floyd!!!

There was this weird shot of these smokestack looking things (I don't know what it was during, I think Money) but anyway, they looked just like the power plant smokestacks from the Animals cover. Very interesting...

The ones on the Animals cover were I believe Battersea Power Station, London, so it might have been. I'm not sure if it still stands. :)

Which albums do you have?

I don't have their early records, but I do have....

A Saucerful of Secrets
Meddle
Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You Were Here
Animals
The Wall
A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Pulse
Echoes

And most of their DVDs and videos.

re: Live 8...I must confess to a tear of joy in my eye during Dave's Comfortably Numb solo .  It was amazing seeing them back on stage together.

Pink Floyd were brilliant at live 8. I thought Waters was the singer!!??

Waters and Gilmour shared the singing. Rick Wright (keyboards) sang backing vocals occasionally.

Syd Barrett was the lead singer up until he left the band.
