Israel the beloved servant, called Jeshurun(The upright one.) in Deuteronomy 32,33 and Isaiah 44. The beloved servant(Israel/Jacob), as well as David in Psalm 38, is punished similarly to the calamity that Job endured.
In Isaiah 45 God says woe to him that strives with his maker. In studying these chapters one can easily come to a new understanding of Job's plight.
