Fron what I recall, there are canons which do not allow a person to marry the son or daughter of their Godparent. You essentially become one family.

I know you probably weren't thinking about that, but if the Godparent has sons and you have a daughter, it could lead to some complex situations if your children fell in love years later.

This is one thing that is good about me being my nephew’s Godmother :) No possible extra complexity there.

Being his Godmother is a blessing in so many ways. <3

It definitely is something to think about though!
