  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

We have a reasonable alternative to “let nature take it’s course” while this coronavirus sickens our people.
    What’s holding us back?
“We don’t know that it won’t hurt us, maybe, down-the-road!?”
This is OUR time to “live and move and have our beings” in: are we going to allow ourselves to shirk our responsibilities to our progeny?

Unless, “it’s the ‘end-times’” so we don’t even have to think about the future?

What a grand time to have lived!

There are a number of alternative treatments which are very effective when the patient is treated early, allowing them to recover quickly with natural long term T-cell immunity which is effective against all the variants. They have all been pushed aside for the glorious vaccination which doesn't do anything to stop the spread of the disease and doesn't provide long term immunity. All it does is make the pharmaceutical companies rich.

That's false. How about the fact that unvaccinated are a vast majority of the serious cases, and are putting a serious strain on hospital capacity?

I get that cherry-picking facts and then trying to build some sort of case using them is attractive, but when doing so ignores what's actually happening in communities with low vaccination rates the story falls pretty flat.

You've said this before, but you never provide any references to back up your claim. Your opinion is noted, and given the respect it warrants.

Like all the rest of us, immunity to viruses is acquired upon death.

In case you were unaware, telling a self-professed Christian that they are not a Christian (referring to them as an atheist) is a violation of the rules of the forum.

The horse died long ago. Do you have anything to contribute to the topic at hand?

Statement like these causes me to not know whether or not a person believes in a higher power. But this thread has taught me to check names and titles and genders, although I would rather just treat words as words. Thanks again for the reminders.

You really need references to know that unvaccinated people are far more likely to end up in the hospital with covid? OK, fair enough :

    https://www.sciencenews.org/article/covid-coronavirus-vaccines-hospital-cases-rates-unvaccinated
Grand majority of COVID patients in area hospitals are unvaccinated, more patients than last year
How many vaccinated vs. unvaccinated COVID-19 patients are there? | wfmynews2.com

And so on and so forth. So yeah, the claim that "There is no scientific evidence whatsoever supporting the claim that non-vaccinated individuals are risking the public’s health in any way more than vaccinated people" is false.

Is your righteous indignation, based on the fact that you are trying to save the lives of the unvaccinated????? Or is it that you want them to stop using up beds so that you and your vaccinated friends can be able to use the facilities when you need them?

Why can't it be both? You don't die, and we don't trip over your unvaxxed friends on our way to the hospital when we need our appendix out.

    What's wrong with a win-win situation?

No idea where this is coming from, no need to get so emotional about a post which is just posting a few references to data showing that vaccines work to prevent serious cases of covid.

I'm pretty sure that kind of statement holds regardless of an afterlife or not.

If there's no afterlife, you obviously wouldn't get a virus after you died.

If you died and went to Heaven, there obviously wouldn't be any viruses there.

If you believe that torment in Hell includes being infected by viruses, though, then maybe it could be false, but I don't know if anyone thinks that.

The CDC still states on their website that reinfection remains rare. If someone catches it obviously they would fall into the "rare" category but it doesn't take away the fact overall it remains rare. Meaning that for most people that have recovered, the natural immunity has kicked in and is working.

They state they're still doing studies on who gets reinfected, what that means for their immunity, etc.

But if someone were to get reinfected, I would definitely want to know what my antibodies were and if they were to get vaccinated, what they are after vaccination to see what level of protection one has since they might possibly be more prone to infection.

Your post does not address the findings of the Israeli study that vaccinated people are carrying highly contagious viral loads. The fact that they are less likely to experience severe symptoms means there are potentially millions of super spreaders wandering around in public, unaware that they are infected.
    Have a nice day.

Would it be “better” if the vaccinated spread their vile affliction to unvaccinated folk, then?

Those who are unknowingly infected, whether vaccinated or not, are spreading the illness to vaccinated and unvaccinated alike.

And who is statistically more likely to survive an infection?
