Chris Wallace calls Pence RNC speech 'well-crafted' and 'very effective' attack on Biden record

Mike Pence's speech capping the third night of the Republican National Convention was "well-crafted" and "took apart Joe Biden's record" on a variety of issues, "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace said Wednesday.

With all the criticism of Biden by the Trump team...
I'm expecting that Biden will shape up and focus hard on looking good for the debates.
His lack of proper preparation really got him some really bad press like you mentioned.

Kinda expecting Trump to go into the debates with too much overconfidence and not do well in the first one. But by the third one in TN at Belmont it will be a snoozefest once again.

Now if Trump takes the first debate seriously and clean's Biden's clock...it's over.

But there's two more to go.

Trump needs to "bring his A game" to each and every one of them.
The Democrats are currently divided with nothing to unite them other than hating Trump. The rerun of a platform of Obama's isn't going to work... denigrating Trump isn't going to work...they need a fresh agenda to unite their party and they don't have one.

From all the bad press a person would swear that SOMEHOW Trump wants to destroy our nation by breathing and that his wife has torn up the lawn at the nation's capitol. (Count the silverware after they leave)

Actually I think that it looks nice and great and more useful than ever before with all the updates. But whatever...

The debates will be absolutely full of mudslinging... whoever can appear the cleanest and above that sort of thing will be the winner.
JFK won against Nixon simply because he looked better. The debate centered on fear of the USSR at the time...it was a "junk yard dog" debate with both candidates saying how mean they could be against Russian aggression.

If this year's debates are to be compared with the JFK-Nixon debate, Biden had better "look" a lot more focused, articulate, and youthful than he usually shows.

Oh they always are regardless of what people think...

When Mondale vx Reagan went down...oh Reagan cleaned his clock...he was more articulate and resonating with understandable concepts. Mondale looked like he would have rather been at a buffet from all the dieting he did to fit in his suit instead of at the debate (He didn't look happy)
The "skunk at a picnic" comment was the nail in his coffin.

I haven't seen it, but I'm not surprised. Pence is a darn good politician and speaker.

Probably. And by the way, when Nixon lost narrowly and knew that there was cheating in states that made the difference, he declined to go to court or seek recounts or anything of that sort because it would not be good for America.

Today, we have the loser of the 2016 election STILL talking about being cheated although the reason she lost, as is almost universally understood, is because she was too lazy or complacent to campaign.
