Not only that - but:

Yale doctoral students currently earn a stipend $30,000 a year, receive free health care, and have their $40,000 tuition paid in full, according to Yale News.

So we feel bad for these poor liberal students who get free tuition and 30,000 a year for going to class. And they are striking for more. Yeah, I feel real bad for them.
For going to class? You understand that they're required to teach and/or do research as well, right?

How hard! And for only 40,000 a year in free education, 30,000 cash stipend and free medical care.

My heart is breaking.

Do you know what a doctoral student actually is?

A simple search:

In short, the AHCA does not eliminate coverage for pre-existing conditions. Like the Affordable Care Act, Trumpcare will require all health insurers to cover people who apply regardless of their medical history.

https://trumpcare.com/trumpcare-bill-passed-house-impacts-pre-existing-conditions/
Yes, it actually does. The pittance provided to help will be way too little to do the job.

Trump's site is inaccurate (edited).

note:

Trump's healthcare bill allows rape and domestic violence to be a pre-existing condition

rape is a pre-existing condition?

https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucej...-5-with-pre-existing-conditions/#3ddb74ad138d

According to research from Avalere Health, just 5% of Americans with preexisting conditions who currently have individual coverage will benefit from funds written into the American Health Care Act, which Republicans passed by a vote of 217-213.

“The bill does not assure a predictable and structured mechanism through which people with preexisting conditions are guaranteed coverage,” said Dan Mendelson, president of Avalere, a consulting and research firm that has followed the rollout of the Affordable Care Act and more recent efforts to repeal and replace the law.

The $23 billion “specifically allocated” in the AHCA to help individuals with preexisting conditions will cover only 110,000 individuals. In California alone, there are 301,000 people with preexisting conditions in the individual insurance market,Avalere said.
The Dems will be using this in the upcoming election, for sure.

They are on a HUGE loosing ride. Like that will help.

Are you objecting to rape victims being covered by health insurance? That'll go over well

I didn't say that I objected to rape victims being covered by health insurance. Please do not misrepresent my position.

I object to rape being considered a pre-existing condition that could keep the victim from being covered by insurance.

So do I - but the President and his team has said that people with pre existing conditions will be covered, so far the only thing I have seen saying otherwise is a report from a writer from the UK and another person who called him a liar.

However, I did not say I objected to rape victims being covered by health insurance so please do NOT be disingenuous about that.

There are plenty of sources saying how much more those with pre-existing conditions will have to pay for insurance and it will be unaffordable for most with preexisting conditions.

Wait for the CBO report.

IMHO. The only thing disingenuous is calling someone a liar and offering no proof whatsoever.

We agree on the rape victim issue.

There are other ways to be disingenuous.
I never once implied rape victims should not be covered by insurance.

As I said, there is plenty out there criticizing the new bill regarding pre-existing conditions.

Wow1 OK - third time - you and I AGREE on the rape issue - I apologize for any words or reference that would indicate otherwise. We AGREE on the issue - I do not know how to state it plainer than that.

I apologize and agree
I apologize and agree
I apologize and agree
I apologize and agree
I apologize and agree
I apologize and agree
I apologize and agree

Now how about calling the president a liar and offering no proof?

Apology accepted and let's be at peace.

Where did I write that Trump is a liar?
I will edit the post above that Trumps's site is inaccurate though to keep the peace.

This is a peanut gallery thread

Regarding pre-existing conditions:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucej...-5-with-pre-existing-conditions/#2fc5afd2138d

The House of Representatives narrowly passed legislation Thursday to repeal and replace Obamacare, without a clear picture of its financial cost and impact on coverage. A new analysis estimates that there's not nearly enough money appropriated in the bill to help people with preexisting conditions pay for their care.

According to research from Avalere Health, just 5% of Americans with preexisting conditions who currently have individual coverage will benefit from funds written into the American Health Care Act, which Republicans passed by a vote of 217-213.

It is dead reaching the Senate as they will write their own bill.

TrumpCare passed because GOP moderates know it’s doomed to fail

And the Senate bill will die as soon as it reaches the House, as they will want to re-write their own bill... thus maintaining the illusion of work without anything actually getting done.

And so the pastime of political ping-pong proceeds in perpetuity.
They don't like the bill they got from the House, that is for sure. I think the CBO score will be bad.
