No, they haven’t. There has been a trend of improving economic conditions in place for the last 9 years. That trend hasn’t changed. If you look at the graphs, you cannot point to the place where Obama left and Trump took over...the line continues as before...

The best thing that Trump could do economically is just get out of the way and allow the trend to continue.

All an enemy in war would need to do would be to take out the GPS system these trucks will depend on... In a national security scenario we would be BEGGING for a fiasco.

Its national security at the heart of the matter. As a tactic it would invite a war. For all commerce on the highway could be shut down in a day.... While many today can not even live one day without air conditioning on a hot day. Imagine a highway massively cluttered with crashed trucks while civilians are trying to evacuate a danger zone?

Until there is 'war no more'... AI trucking should only be an interesting concept.

An EMP weapon would have a much more devastating effect on current technology, including the ignition of a high percentage of vehicles, yet we for some reason have not banned computerization nor using electronics in cars/trucks.

One GPS failure and all lives saved in comparison will fade quickly in one day's time. Imagine millions of trucks on the road loosing their GPS signal at the same moment... Better pray that they do not robotize EMS vehicles in that scenario.
