Absolutely! The new covenant replaced the old. There are elements of the old covenant that remained, such as theft and adultery and homisexuality and some things were altered like tithing 10%. There were new things Christ and the apostles introduced.

Christians are under a new covenant and this pastor has strayed far from the light.

    Horrific, inexcusable, and utterly repulsive.

Mark Burns does not deserve the title of Pastor, and deserves absolutely no respect or honor. I hope that they remove 501 (c) (3) tax exemption from the Harvest Praise & Worship Center, since they're clearly taking a bluntly political (and objectively evil) position.

    To whom?

How about when a a man wears a sleeveless top to show off his "guns"?
How about when a woman wears stiletto heels?

All sorts of clothing expresses sexuality... Who can say what does or doesn't make another person's heart do the cha-cha?

According to Jesus, if someone else is expressing their sexuality in any way, and you get aroused, the responsibility is on you, not them. Why ignore such good advice?

Well it comes from Newsweek and then the PRO TRUMP is a dead giveaway what this is really about. I would hope pray by now we know you most believers followers of Jesus Christ who died for the worlds sin.. no other loves you more.. to hear this day in day out.. we all got to make that choice to believe or not.

So one pastor talks like this? Most do not even think like that. Is this really much different then saying "those people" that voted for Trump should be locked up treated for treason and some said far worse?

If I am asked personally I will answer but other then that.. I'm not here to judge nor condemn. That light that love of God who sent HIs only son.. love will always change the heart. So thanks for sharing this I will be praying for that pastor..

I'm pretty sure that the only thing that someone expresses by wearing drag is that they enjoy wearing clothes typically worn by the opposite gender.

Those scholars have completely misrepresented and twisted their cultural contexts. I've read them and done research myself. It's a joke and all are doing everything they can to try and justify their sinful ways.

It's very typical of people to do that. Just like the inquisition tried to justify their wickedness. It's all sin and wickedness.

There is no doubt that Christianity has often been its own worst enemy. Humans, Christian or not, far too often form a belief system first and then try to make the Bible fit the system instead of fitting their system to fit the Bible. It's always been that way and always will. It's a human failing at it is wrong. That's how we got the inquisition, the burning of witches, and the racism of the south. None of which are supported by the New Covenant to which the church should be beholden.

Despite that, the church as a whole has done more for the poor, the sick the downtrodden etc. than any other group or organization. I will confess we are still not doing enough with our largess as believers.

As the Bible clearly teaches we as individuals and as a corporate body are to reach out and be the hand of Christ to others. Never does the teachings of Christ it Paul demand that we force anyone else to give it assist. The gospel is for everyone, the commands of love, kindness gentleness meekness, forgiving, generosity, mercy are only for the church made of individuals. It is meant for ONLY the believer to live. As believers we are to oppose the enemy when we see him. Because we are aware of his devices and how his devices destroy. The thief has come to kill and destroy, he has come seeking those to devour and it is our responsibility as a church to oppose the working if the enemy. But we are not to command non -believers to be I obedience to Christ. We are to tell all men to repent.

It's is not our place to punish those outside the church for they are already under condemnation and the judgement of God. It is our responsibility to judge those within the church who are creating wickedness within. It is our responsibility to rebuke and discipline those within the church that call themselves brothers for wickedness and false doctrine.

And this pastor, if what is said about him is true is NOT within the New Covenant and he should be judged and disciplined and rebuked by the church.

LGBT IS a moral problem. Just like any other sin is. Such as adultery or hatred.

No, that isn't it. Try talking about Jan 6 on Truth Social. What about the book burnings, such as Harry Potter books done in various American churches, a book burning planned by Pastor Grizzard in NC in 2009, or Pastor Greg Locke earlier this year? There are plenty on the Right who want to censor, just as there are on the left.

I disagree with that. Freedom of religion and all, even if it is wrong.
