  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This recipe goes great with ham or pork!

Party Potatoes

A 2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes

1/4 C chopped onion

1/4 C parsley

1/4 C butter or margarine melted

2 10 oz. cans Cream of Potatoe soup

One soup can of milk

One 12 oz. package shredded cheddar cheese

Spread frozen hash browns in a 13x9 in. pan to thaw for one hour.

In large mixing bowl combine the butter or margarine, onion, parsley, soup, milk, and approx. 1/3 of the shredded cheese.  Mix and pour evenly over potatoes.  Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr.

Here is MY recipe

package frozen hashbrown potatoes (thawed)
1 small container sour cream
1/2 cup onion
1 stick butter
1 can cream of celery
1 can cream of chicken
2 cups cheddar cheese

sautee onion in butter until tender, mix all soup mixes & sour cream with the potatoes, add butter & onions, stir in 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, and bake 350 degrees for 1.5 hours Yummmy!!
