I'm glad your not in the camp of Mary being co-mediator. I think there is a push to make her co-redeemer also.
The Lord Jesus Christ entrusted the universal care of souls into the safekeeping of "His Helper" the Holy Spirit.
That any human being should lay claim to the office of Vicar of Christ seems totally absurd and blasphemous.
My point is that they were being led by the Holy Spirit yet they were humble enough to realize it was God who is to be Glorified and not them. They took no credit.

That was my point!!Your point changes. You have not answered my questions about Paul or the Bible.
Humility is another discussion, though humility might be seen as the Pope endagering his life to go to Constantinople for a purpose, yet being respectful of the the people who are "hosting" him.
I prefer Jesus' teachings along with Peter and Paul's understanding of what Jesus meant about salvation. The function of the Pope is not to change or make up new doctrine but to teach it and protect it. From a CC perspective Christ and the Apostles taught everything that we needed to know. Public revelation eneded with the death of the last apostle.
Peace
St Peter was the 1st Pope.

What's the Popes interpretation of Salvation? Does it coincide with what Jesus said. Peter and Paul don't think so.
I have a problem with a tarnished history of Papal corruption
