You have the Schripture and eluded to the Greek translation as your means of interpretation.
What dialect of Greek was my question?

You can think that if you want, I'll go by what the Bible instructs for we are told that ALL scripture is profitable.
The critical method of Bible interpretation is a dangerous slippery slope that can lead a believer to reject whatever portions of scripture he doesn't like.

Adventists don't worry about another thinking we're available because we don't entertain such flattery's. Of course, I'm talking about most SDA as there are some that commit adultery... and would have, ring or not.

My dad's denom was Wesleyan Methodist, and they did not wear wedding bands either. But my mom kept getting propositioned whenever she went out without him, so he finally got her a band to stop the press of guys hitting on her.
