Well, we all make up or contribute to what constitutes culture. So are you saying that the Church is also to blame? If so, congratulations on such an accurate observation.The same thing is happening now in Oxford and Britain too, apparently. What happened in Canada provides the context of how oppressive the culture has become.
Of couse, in the USA, the major universities are private. That means at Yale, to say that students ought to wear what they want for Halloween, is enough to get professors run out of their jobs too. Either way, the culture is what is kicking the legs out of peoples right to have a public opinion contrary to Groupspeak.
Much of the blame falls squarely on Christians going to sleep and falling miserably to be the Salt of the Earth. Oooh...that hurts, doesn't it.
Good will not come forth and grow in society unless it is brought forth by the saints. Demonstratively, remove the saints and the Christian influence from the earth and darkness will multiply and spread. But of course it's easier to lay all the blame for spreading evil in the earth on the godless.
