The post is just a quotation of scripture taken at random and we are expected to make sence of it.
To the posters surprise the bible does not work like that. It is not a mystic promise box, pull an unrelated promise out and expect it to work.

No the bible is to be applied logically and reasonable to our lives.

It doesn't say not to earn money. It says to pay all u should so the only debt you have is a debt of love. Where are you getting that people shouldn't pay you?

Love Fulfills the Law

What is the question thought answered by these verses?

Why not understand them as a continuation of the preceding verses--duty to country and people of residence, and in that way consonant with 1 Peter 2:13-3:12?
