Our local church faces losing its most committed members

An order has been given that an EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) course has to be taken for all members who have a responsibility in the congregation. Now some of those people do have objections to being forced to affirm certain lifestyles as equally acceptable to God, but all of them object to the diminishing of the role of Jesus in the salvation of humanity, presumably to accentuate the Diversity and Inclusion part. There is nothing about repentance or the righteousness demands of God and the cost to His Son to rescue us from eternal loss. We will lose a treasurer, two preachers, two stewards, and a protection officer. What was very disappointing was the lack of support and sympathy from the circuit middle managers. The whole thing is couched in such felt intimidation.
