Does that sort of thing happen over here? I haven't been to loads of weddings but can't remember ever receiving wedding favours or the groom giving out groomsmens gifts.

Well if i was a groomsmen then the best present you could get me would be a fourpack of beer (or a lifesize poster of Giselle Bundchen). You don't need need to get any more complicated than that!
