Hm... there's an interesting idea for a social media platform. Instead of having millions of random people bombard you with chatter, have private "pen pal" type conversations with individuals or very small groups. Just talking about life or whatever.

I remember we all had pen pals back in grade school as a project. It's been forever since I last wrote a letter, but as hostile as the internet has become I wouldn't be surprised if people started going back to old school communication.

My handwriting has suffered after so many years of typing, though.

*sigh* double post - phone glitch.

I've had forum pen-pals. One such exchange had consequences. I got talked into trying out an online video game that I've been playing for 5 years now lol. On this forum I connected with a member via PM who brought a really good teacher to my attention.
