Amen brinny, amen.Wow, gotta pray for our brothers and sisters worldwide who are persecuted for their refusal to give up their faith. Just listened to a message about a pastor, Pastor Umar Mulinde in Uganda, who has been attacked several times.
God must give us extra measures of grace to be targeted that way, and to keep on keepin' on....
Ont time i needed 80 dollars to fix my car, and one morning as i was walking to work i found exactly 80 dollars laying on the ground. Can you think of any times that God pulled you through a situation that was clearly God, moooooving on your behalf?

You're welcome. Yes, praise the Lord.Hahahaaaaa!!! God PUT it there!!!
Praise to Him!!!!
Thank you for sharing that!!!!
You said to not debate church attendance versus online fellowship, but may I make comparisons? Apart from Sunday School - which is in decline - church attendance bears no resemblance to fellowship as seen in the book of Corinthians where everyone contributes in the gathering a gift from the Lord so the body (as stated in Ephesians 4) edifies itself in love. Online fellowship comes closer. Everyone may contribute so that iron sharpens iron. I have even had one experience where I prayed online for someone and that person reported back the next day that she was healed by the prayer.Im wanting to get opinions on our online fellowship. What do you think of it? Does it help you? How? Please do not debate Church attendance verses online fellowship. That's off topic. Thank you.
Interesting point, thanks. You said to not debate church attendance versus online fellowship, but may I make comparisons? Of course, we all know that we can not break bread together online, but that is not done in church either except for sponsored potluck dinners.
As for friendships, it is 50/50. In other forums in years past I had developed friendships online that moved to the sharing of personal location and contact. In this forum there are some people that move me when I read what they say, and others that I respect and admire because of their sensitivity to the Spirit as well as their knowledge and wisdom.
After reading your post again i wanted to say that a place of refuge sounds nice.Remembering our weary brothers and sisters who just need a place of refuge that refreshes their mind, heart, and spirit, and it is because when God's love and grace is present there is rest for weary souls and refreshment, and a cold drink of water for a very weary and parched soul.

Amen, be glad.I sooooooo agree. I've needed refuge more times than i can count.
This comes to mind, especially the lyrics:
Well said.Praise God for His fellowship, and ours, as we come together in unity, praising our God and ministering to, and fellowshipping with each other.
God bless us, ev'ry one (((hug)))
Well said.
