One of the most witty and funny church signs I've seen

I just got back home and I passed my town's major mainstream church. As many churches go nowadays, they have one of those large stands that's meant to hold letters which you can use to say a few things. Now I find it so witty that it makes me wonder if it's a well known and funny quip that somehow I've missed? It reminds me of the kind of humor Mark Twain would use and it says this:


7 days without prayer makes one weak

Judging by the response to an internet search is quite well known, though no less funny for that.
