One Covid vaccine cuts infection rate in all age groups
Unlike most countries, the UK prioritized getting at least one dose into arms over getting the full set of two immunizations. To do this, they set the interval between doses at 12 weeks rather than the three weeks used for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, I believe. This decision is looking pretty good right now - the efficacy (counting 3 weeks for the vaccine to take effect) is 65% for only one dose of the vaccine(s), rising to 90% with two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.

On a rather tangential note, the following graphic shows progress towards herd immunity in the US as well as individual states, under varying assumptions as to accuracy of cases reported:
