I agree. If we don't stand firm it's because God didn't make us stand firm. It is my belief that God desires for us to stand firm because that's what we want, not because He makes us stand firm. The translation I uses does not use the word "makes" in 1 Corinthians 1:21-22. It uses the word "establishes." So, if we don't stand firm it's not because of the weakness of God's power. It's because of God's willingness to allow us free will. Sometimes that takes more power that simply forcing people to do something.Looks like it depends on God's power...so if we don't stand firm, it's because God did not make us stand firm... His Word say's He will do it.
