What's your favorite sport in the winter olympics?

My favorites are the sliding sports (luge, bobsleigh, skeleton) and the alpine events.

If they could do all of the figure skating events in one or two nights, then be done with them, I'd be happy.

How about you?

Coming from Norway, skiing is certainly very popular and ingrained in the culture; ski as we know it is from Scandinavia, so it makes sense. Living in Japan, figure skating is very popular, and my wife likes it a lot. I think I agree with the OP, however. Bobsleigh and snowboard are fun to watch.

Most of all though, I like our team's curling trousers:

Figure skating here, but I also love watching snowboarding and free style skiing. All of those have acrobatic elements to them. Which is why in the Summer Olympics, my favorite sports to watch are gymnastics and diving.
