• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

    Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today’s Mass Reading I encourages and lifts us, and the Gospel for today sounds an ominous warning we need to hear “with the ears of our hearts.” God speaks only Truth and Jesus is warning us out of His Love today as He warned the people whom He taught then and whom He is teaching today. By God’s Grace, let us listen as Mary listened and kept all in her heart, and did the Truth she heard from God.

    Reading I (Rom 8:26-30)

The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. And the One who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because He intercedes for the holy ones according to God’s will. We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined He also called; and those He called He also justified; and those he justified He also glorified.

Responsorial (Ps 13:4-5, 6) - “My hope, O Lord, is in Your mercy.”

Alleluia (See 2 Thes 2:14) - “God has called us through the Gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

    Gospel (Lk 13:22-30)

Jesus passed through towns and villages, teaching as He went and making His way to Jerusalem. **Someone asked Him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them,“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough. After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ He will say to you in reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ And you will say, 'We ate and drank in your company and you taught in our streets.’ Then he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers!’ And there will be wailing and grinding of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God and you yourselves cast out. And people will come from the east and the west from the north and the south and will recline at table in the Kingdom of God. For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

Come Holy Spirit, teach us how to pray as we ought! Fill us as you filled Mary with Jesus, giving us the Fulness of Truth. Enable us to do the Truth we hear as Mary our Mother listened and pondered all in her heart and did the Truth she heard. Amen
