I imagine I've shared enough info about myself to spark up potentially interesting conversation with people from all walks of life. While prayers and relevant bible verses are perfectly fine, I'm especially keen on people who have unique outlooks on spiritual matters, even if they wholeheartedly disagree with me.

Hello, I'm a Baptist/Non-Denominational too and was probably raised with some things you were (if you grew up in the church.) Thank you for sharing about yourself. I'm glad to meet another person that is crazy enough to rep young-earth but I will say I haven't quite understood KJV only churches... if I may, though I use KJV often because of copyright concerns, it's only one in a line of many English Bibles, it was intentionally held back in terms of language, and one of the translators even claimed (the phrase I'm remembering is "he told anyone that would listen") that 10 or so verses were changed after translation by a political operator. I am joyfully anticipating your response.

I am an old school law and order Conservative. The opposite of liberal-tarian.

Thank you! Believe it or not, though I'm KJV-only, I don't go to a KJV-only church (they use the ESV, mostly), and as far as I remember, I don't think I was saved with a KJV (some other translation, most likely). IMO, KJV-onlyism isn't a hill to die on, but based on many factors I remain strong in my conviction that the KJV is the inspired and correct English translation from original languages. I am unfamiliar with whom you are referencing regarding the changed verses, but I know many of the arguments against the Authorized Version (KJV).
