it is written that obedience is better to God than "sacrifice".

As i think on it, "disobedience", as it is written, is akin to "rebellion" and "witchcraft".

Rebellion/disobedience, is the very essence of Satan. What it is, bottom line, is a refusal to bow down to the living God and to thus "fear" Him.

THIS is the very "heart" of sin. It was/has been for Lucifer/Satan, and it is thus so for us.
