If you are aware of a crime, you have a duty as a citizen to report it. As a public official, Obama has a greater duty in that regard. He shirked his responsibility

No, not really.

He eventually got caught & put in prison. It helped him not one whit. Nor did it help his community nor his country.

He was a perfectly respectable citizen, working a job & paying his bills. He got bent in private in his house in the evening.

He hurt no one.

He was a drain on no one's resources.

Then he went to prison, which was bad for him, and also bad for the community because he wasn't working a job & paying taxes any more. In prison, he was living at taxpayer expense.

Aaaaaaaand we've come rather far from the OP, for which I'm sure MachO joins me in apologizing.

Sen. Obama has announced that
1. He was unaware of his Half-aunt on his father's side's immigration status.
2. He will be returning whatever contributions she has made to his campaign.

So, he couldn't have turned her in anyway, since he didn't know she was here illegally.

This election is like no other in the history of America. The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?

Obama went overseas to promise the “people of the world” that he would end the divide between rich and poor nations, and said, “people of the world, this is our moment, this is our time.”
Obama is running for a hostile takeover of the US on behalf of the anti-American international community. His plan is quite plainly to rape and pillage America’s wealth, and redistribute it to the rest of the world. His speech was brazenly candid about this.
He has already put forth this very plan in the S.2433 Global Poverty Act of 2007, which he authored in the Senate. This bill, in fact will stick the U.S for 845 BILLION dollars. Thats $2500 dollars for every man, woman and child in America. That’s in addition to the BILLIONS we already funnel into third world countries who hate us.
